I have a cyma aks74u and i was wondering if i can convert the wooden hand guard to RIS for not too much money, any help please, thanks.

yes you can buy RIS kits for the AK74U. You need to look for a company called Kings Arms as they do kits for just about every AK. However make sure you get the right one as another model will not fit correctly. Certain HK sites sell them, but you may end up paying import duty on them. Should be around £40 or so shipped, so you may get import duty on top.
