Gearbox sticking
6 October, 2016, 18:04
Hi guys, i have a G&P m14 dmr, however whenever the battery is plugged in and I pull the trigger, the motor turns but gets jammed, meaning that the battery connectors and moter get hot etc. etc. How can I stop this? Is it the motor height? do I just need to play around with the little alan key nut or what else could it be?

Re: Gearbox sticking
what battery you using? does the gearbox work (IE: have you cracked the gearbox open to make sure the gears are not binding?)

Re: Gearbox sticking
If it's a DMR then the spring should be of higher rating meaning the motor may be struggling to pull it back. Try a high torque motor if you have one. I had this a while back though and it was a battery issue

Re: Gearbox sticking
I'm using a 11.1 lipo battery so that cant be the problem, the motor is a G&P 1200 high speed, so could it be that? i haven't dared opened the gearbox yet. thanks
