basically i want a shorter top rail/scope mount on my JG G36C.. im mounting a G&P aimpoint and im just not sure what's really compatible.
i read about some flat top rail converstion but its quite overpriced.. im thinking something like this -
ive only really come accross something like this - (link removed)
lil help? im pretty new to airsoft
also, is it neccessary to have a front sight when using an aimpoint?

Re: top rail, wasnt sure where to put this
It's not necessary to have a front site when using an aimpoint but some, like myself, prefer to 'co-witness' red dots with an iron sight. If your batteries suddenly die....
Re the rail, if you mean the Star flat top, your only hope is the States or HK but they're
very
rare.

hmm that sucks
i was concidering just chopping down my current flat top, which i think will work quite well.. cutting it at a diagonal angle up from the rifle
yeah im pretty tempted by a flipup front sight, im pretty sure ive seen ones with their own base also
