what new gearbox to get

hi i just got a jg m4 in trade and the gearbox is cracked at the front. its not upgraded or anythin just standard and i dont want this to be regular occurence so i will not buy the same make one again. i dont want a drop in full gearbox only the gearbox case

yea but there isnt no where that sells just the case and i was told they are just as bad

You were told wrong. TM gearbox cases are rock solid.

Butr, if you can't find one, go systema. Good quality and easy to find.

I'd recommend a systema or guarder reinforced case. After going through 2 TM cases, the Systema one has not let me down!

how exactly do gearbox cases crack? i'm quite new to airsoft but im very interested in the tecnhical aspects and upgrades

i imagine its something id need to know cos i've got a JG and dont exactly want my gearbox cracking ;p

It cracks because of the force of the piston head hitting the cylinder head time and time again.

Mid price but quality, get a G&P 8mm bearing GB.
