G&P M4 Selector Plate Keeps Breaking
10 June, 2010, 16:09
Guys,
I`m not that heavy handed, but after doing some work on my V2 gearbox, (new pistion, head, trigger contacts the usual,) I`ve now snapped two! yes two selector plates trying to get the gearbox back in the bottom reciever. I have the fire selector switch set up so the cam is at the top but however gentle I am and for all the wriggling i give it, i cant seem to get it to drop in nicely.
Am i doing something daft?? or is there a real nac to this???
PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!
Cheers
J

Re: G&P M4 Selector Plate Keeps Breaking!!!
1 make sure the mag release isnt fit before you try to install the mechbox.
2 its kinda of a rocking motion i think i do the back first then the front.
i think i move the selector about as i slide it in..
dunno i dont really think about it, two plates is impressive though, congrats..
next time remember if its pushing on something pushing harder isnt the answer :P

Re: G&P M4 Selector Plate Keeps Breaking
make sure the damn selector switch is set to semi/ single shot lol main pain in the ass .
then rock the gear box in the trigger end first then once that end is in just ease the rear end in .
then line it all up
