Gearbox Magnets for ARES ECF AEG Gearboxes
28 April, 2017, 15:53
Hi all
So worked out why my Ares started going nuts after changing the gears in it.
Ares in there boxes have a sensor unit which you need the magnet on the sector gear in order for it to fire correctly.
Would anyone know of anywhere (in the UK) that supplies the magnets?
I have found them on Evike but there out of stock.

@sparrowhawk I tried but it seemed to be pressed in, also there was no was of poking it out either as it's a solid sprocket?
All sorted now though thanks to magnet

Yes it seems impossible to get it out, I used an angle grinder and cut it out
