Possible Tavor Hop issue
19 June, 2010, 00:51
If my hop is fully on and the bbs are only just hopping (like only flicking up by about an inch/2 lines on my ACOG sight) at the end of their flight path, is something wrong with my hop unit?
Only reason i ask is that when i first got this weapon the hop would work like any other and cause bbs to just go flying upwards with the it fully on. Also, changing the battery (8.4v) for a fully charged one does solve the problem for about 2 mags then it starts again. Gun is also fitted with a 1J spring but no other changes internally from standard.
Many Thanks

Nope, I've always used .25s in them so it seems to still be rather odd.

Sounds like the rubber is just worn out. I'd suggest replacing the rubbers before anything else. Tokyo Marui ones always work well

Tokyo Marui P90
HFC M9 Special Forces
KSC Glock 18c

I figured that might be it just wanted someone else to confirm my suspicions. Its just rather annoying on a virtually brand new gun.
