MP5 problem

Just taken apart the gearbox on my mp5 and fixed a gear issue i had, now i seem to have encounted another problem, when i pull the trigger with either semi/full auto nothing happens, after me pulling the trigger a number of times the power then comes back.but only for a while.

Also the selector witch seems to not be working as when semi is selected it will fire full auto.

Cany anyone help?

maby it could be your selector plate, check if there is any movement in it and if it wobbles from side to side

sounds more like a problem with your switch (in the gearbox) and or tappet plate.

that maybe the trigger contacts on both the selector plate and also the switch block in side the gear box

the brass plates maybe dirty on both parts , and also the lack of power maybe due to the fact the contact plates are spread wide apart , if they are just move them in a little bit but GENTLY
