  • BBs litterally breaking when shot.

Hey, my M14 has started litterally breaking the BB's when it shoots, they shoot out in a spray and everyshot has the bb cut in half with one half in 100 pieces!

This has been fixed by a good forum user for me for the past few months, and i got it back this morning.
I am not blaming him for this, he has done more than i could have asked of him to do for this gun as he has done.

I have no idea what could be doing this, ive tried adjusting the hop up but to no avail, what do i do?!

Many thanks to all input in advance.

    Phil

tried using a different make of BB's? this happens in systemas a lot due to using rounds which they don't like.

      Are you using decent ammo?

Stupid question but is the flash hider threaded straight and the barrel straight? Could be that they are smashing into the flash hider on the way out and splitting on that. Have you looked inside your barrel as if there is bits of BB inside it then the chances are the issue is lower down your barrel.

This is almost correct, i managed to figure it out, i had the same problem with my old TM G36K, it only had the C length barrel but with the K length outer barrel, and the bbs were smashin at the sides of it, and vearing highly off target.

What has happened with my M14 is the barrel is shorter than the outer barrel, same as above, and there is a groove near the end of the outer barrel which goes inwards, and the BB's are smashing against this and breaking, ive tried shooting without the outer barrel and there is no problem and all is good... so im just going to need to buy a new longer inner barrel :D lol xD

Thanks very much for all your help!

          cheers
