removing iron sites from tm g36c

i need to remove the iron sites, front and back from my g36 c cus they get in the way of my scope and are generally crap anyway. there held in by a silver thing i cant figure out how to remove,m i dont want to ruin the gun, any ideas?

Just top it with a thin object small nail etc and a hammer of course
