CA M15A4 dying...
18 July, 2010, 13:37
I have an Classic Army M15A4 played yesterday and a couple of hours into play the battery just died. I have tried it with many other batterys, checked charge, etc. From a new battery it shoots about 200 shots and just dies, and the battery is dead. Any ideas?

Re: CA M15A4 dying...
Sounds like a wire issue to me... But could be more my m15 is always spliting the wires when ive put it back together... So it could be a short from the said wires but thats just my thoughts .

If you have have tried a new battery many times mate
Try a different motor as it will cause it to sound like it dying slowly as the bushes may be worn in the motor

Re: CA M15A4 dying...
I've tried it with 8.4 2200 and 9.6v 1500 as well as some of my mates others. All mine only about 3 months old, the batterys work fine in there guns. So I guess the question is where do I get the new motor from and which one is best?
And thank you for the speedy replies! god you guys are fast...

Re: CA M15A4 dying...
Would you recommend it as a replacement?
I'm just stripping it, in case it is a wiring fault. I have found the big screw on the pistol grip is almost all the way out. Could this be part of the problem? As yet I have found nothing wrong with the wires.

Re: CA M15A4 dying...
just tighten the screw back in mate ,
and the screw wont stop the motor turning , will be a wiring fault or as been said try another motor before hacking at the wires
