was testing out my eotech, everything was working perfect got the sight zeroed
was shooting in semi auto gun was firing brilliantly then i pulled the trigger and nothing happened
so i changed then battery - nothing happened
took the fuse out and connected the two clips together - nothing happened
so i havnt got a clue whats wrong with it
no screeching sounds or bad grinding sounds happened
just when i pull the trigger nothing happens
so does anyone have any idea what could be wrong

Re: Help!!
It may have locked, i.e. with the piston as far back as it'll go.
Break down the rifle and have a look at the back of the top of the gearbox, to see if the piston is at it's rearmost point. If it is, you'll have to open up the gearbox to reset it.
If not, connect the wiring to the motor without the motor installed into the gun, to see if it spins. If it does, your gearbox is jammed. If it doesn't, check over your entire wiring, including the trigger contects inside the gearbox.

Re: Help!!
check the fuse mate if your wiring has one .
could also check battery again . if not workin it may be time do mech box dive to check nothing has blown . beacuse my friend aribos his m4 did the same and we found out that his gear box had exploded without us knowing no noise jams nothin . . .
check to see if the motor spins when not seated in the pistol grip also to see if gears spinf freely when move .

Re: Help!!
i cant here any clicking/any noise when i pull the trigger - usually when the gearbox locks you can hear it trying to fire
yeah ive tried it on full auto
and i have checked the fuse
also when i was looking at the spade connectors i put the battery in and touched the two connectors together and there was no sparks which is strange

Then check your wiring, including the trigger contacts inside the gearbox.

Re: Help!!
Again, as mentioned up there ^^^^^, check it on full auto. I've had this trouble before and just switching from semi to full auto and back again cured the problem.
It could be that the trigger contacts have arced and burnt out over time, is the rifle old?
This is one of the prime reasons for installing a mosfet, the high load (required to start the motor spinning) crossing the contacts during firing will be higher and more frequent (due to repeated stop/start cycle) during semi only fire damaging the contacts.
It's not the most obvious explanation but it's possible, and much more likely if the rifle is well used!
Hope you get it sorted,
Jay
