Kings arms FAL... help!
24 July, 2010, 20:07
I need to find out how to strip down my Kings arms FAL enough to be able to get the hop unit out.
Been staring at it for ages and just can't see how the thing comes apart .
Even tried searching t'internet but can't seem to find anything.
Anybody got any idea ? or poss even a link to a tutorial ?
Cheers
Andy

Re: Kings arms FAL ... help !!
I took mione appart a while ago due to a problem with the hop unit. I'm pretty sure the main screws are inside the pistol grip once you've taken the motor out

Re: Kings arms FAL... help!
Bit of an update on this...
Managed to dissassemble the Kings arms L1A1 carbine .
This has to be the most awkward gun ever to take down.
All I wanted to do was fix the hop unit , unfortunatly the entire gun has to come apart to gain access.
Probably could of got away without removing the outer barrel , but everything else needs to come apart.
Well it's done now , and it's had a jolly good service with new hop rubber and bucking to boot !
Only wish I had thought about getting a railed top cover before I reassembled it ...
