AGM M16 Gearbox
5 August, 2010, 10:58
Hello
I bought an AGM M16A3 (the one from Actionhobbies), overall its a nice full metal gun. i got it chronoed and it was firing at 280-290fps, so i was thinking about putting a better spring in as i have a systema m100 spring (350fps'ish) floating about.
is it as easy as switching the springs over or is there more i need to do?
or would it be easier to buy a whole new gearbox, ICS or Systema maybe?
thanks for any advice

Re: AGM M16 Gearbox
thanks for the offer, i am able to do it myself. im just worried whether or not the new spring will damage the piston or any of the gears?

Re: AGM M16 Gearbox
It should be ok, but higher than 350fps you should think about new parts
