    Will an Ares/Star boxmag fit an A&K M249?

    any advice would be most welcome guys...are the boxmags compatible?

      I have ARES/STAR the same sold on Z1 which is out of stock and a lot of people ask me that question. Is mags from Star/Ares M249 compatible with A&K M249. Winding in Star mags is activated by pulling the trigger and A&K by sound is that correct ?? So they probably not compatible. What do you think ??

        sure, that would make sense. the A&K is sound activated (when its working ) so guessing theyre not compatible in that sense.

        Will the Ares physically fit and feed in the A&K gun though, then maybe fit it with a pressure switch to feed from?
