What hopups can G3sg1 take (instead of G3 hop)

Ok, so as the title. My G3 has been sitting here for close to a year with no hop up and i need to get the thing going!! Can the G3 take a hopup such as an M4/M16 style hop up? G36 style? My mate has an AA SA80 Hopup on a 469mm barrel so would that work with my G3? Ta

The g3 unit is fine, theres no need to replace it..

he said he dosnt have one at the moment.

BUT, i dont know if others will fit it, besides, try find a g3 hop as there so easy to adjust.

Then he needs to get one..
