G&P M733 Battery?

I just recieved a brand new G&P M733 and am incredibly happy with it. There is however one issue, I can't fit a small size battery in the handguard. What type of battery is this gun designed to take? The handguards are closed to real steel size than the TM version.

There's no manual, so no help there!

i use Vp racing 9.6v bats in mine the crane stock is a better fit but the 8 cell mini does need modding to fit

think G&P make a U shape battery for these
i use an 8.6v crane stock battery in mine and its a tight fit
has to go in the upper hand guard not the lower

? my 9.6;s both go in the lower ( the upper has a gas tube ) but 8 cell mini crane stock batterys are a far better fit
