G&G GR16 compatibility?

Righty Ho. I have just picked up a G&G GR16, however there is a problem with the gearbox. My question is, would i be able to take out the gearbox, and replace it with a TM/Clone one with out to many problems?

In a word - Yep, all V2 compatible, though strange there is a problem with it as G&G boxes are really good. What's up with it?

(Oh and this is the blowback model) :S

According to the seller its the wiring, so i may get it sorted yet.. just nice to know the option's there if i need it.

yeah you can swap the gearbox out for any other v2 box but you will lose the blowback . or get the gun fixed by replacing the parts that are faulty

Cheers guy's. I would prefer to have the blowback but i bought it as a bit of a project anyway, so it would only be a bonus if i get that working.
