HI, i have a ics m4a1 (the metal proline) with a plastic handguard. anywaays im wondering whats the biggest battery i can run on this without changing anything internally? i have a 8.4v 1500 but i feel a bigger battery would be better. what about 9.6 2200?
what battery do you think and also how long would it last?
any info appreciated...

You can get a 9.6v but it has to be a split pack.
Or try 7.4v lipo.

The 3300 will last longer, but take longer to charge

A little but not much.
If your not a spray and pray player the 1500 will do just fine.

What are you talking about? The battery has NO difference whatsoever to the power of the gun. The only measureable thing that it will increase, if capacity or voltage is increased, is the rate of fire.

Missed the edit so just going to put this in polite terms.
What i meant was, higher mah simply means longer runs before charges i.e more power.
It wont make the motor run faster.
