hi, brought a g&p sentry off here just tryed it out about 30 shots and it started smoking and now wont fire . help

from around the back end of the gun and the grip got wam to stopped shooting as soon as saw the smoke and it smelt

Was it firing as usual when it started smoking.
May well be a wiring fault i.e trapped wire.
First off inspect all wires for burn damage.
I take it it has a crane stock.

yeah sounds a bit dodgy. if the pistol grip was getting hot then maybe the motor was out and its done some damage im not sure =/ was it making a horrible grinding sound?

update, he got back to me its a long story but i asked for a refund he said no , and has said its my fault it broke . had a friend look at it and the motor has gone not a big job to replace it and only around £40-50 i only test fired it about 30 BBS and the motor burnt out , just one of those things i guess , but he could have offered to pay for the new motor bit disappointed payed alto of money for this wont name the guy because he might not of known it was going

Well, if you paid by Paypal you could open a dispute. Remember iTrader too

Its going to be one of those things, however many it fired it did fire (i presume normaly) before it actualy packed up.
However a good seller would have offered to refund at least the cost of the motor, i would if only for the sake of my rating.
Its entirely up to you now.
You can either put in a claim if you paid by paypal get your money back and send the gun back.
Try to negotiate with the seller for the cost of repairs.
Or lastly just grin an bear it and get it repaired, live and learn for the next time you buy a 2nd hand aeg.

But your also going to want to dig a little deeper into the elecs if you choose to keep it and make sure there isnt another fault that killed the motor.

getting sorted myself would have liked the guy to have just paid for the repair but he just kept blaming me , having a new motor and weiring . cost about £50 . thanks for all the advice .
