King arms L1a1 full auto

Hi,my king arms L1a1 fires full auto when single shot is selected,the selector feel a little bit loose but clicks into position like it should and the fully auto works as it should.
Any ideas?

Does it function in semi auto when dry firing?

Probably your yaw (cutoff) lever

No it fires full auto when dry firing,
Will look into the cut off lever option

Sometimes, if the cut off lever is starting to go, the extra shock from dry firing semi auto is enough to unlatch/re-set the trigger block trolley.
You may have damage/worn latch on the switch trolley it’s self.
You may also be missing the return spring.
