Glock 18C AEP battery help!

I have a Marui Glock 18C AEP and i bought the battery with the charger adapter for a tamiya connector. I have a smart charger and can adjust the A's (Amps) from 0.5 to 5.5

Now my problem is that i have no clue what setting to have it on and for how long i should charge it. Also, should i place it on a fast or slow charge?

If anyone can offer ANY advice whatsoever it will be greatly appreciated

we hve 5 of these glocks in the team and charge the batteries for 2.5 hrs, slow charge set for 0.5 Amps with no problems so far.

Hi when you say smart charger do you mean an auto cut off / delta peak charger ?
Which make/model do you have pls ?

Which battery do you have the
7.2v 200 mah Nicad or the 500 mah Nimh ?

I can help possibly once I know the answers.
