  • ICS MP5 Double feeding

ok i was just testing in my garden with mid-cap's
and it was double feeding on semi

    i was using a 7.2v battery
    could this be the problem

i also tryed hi-caps but only double feed once

    Re: ICS MP5 Double feeding

I had this, and it was all solved by fitting a AB MOSFET.

Basically, (not sure how much you know about the mechanics!) when you fire the nozzle on the gearbox goes back and forth, allowing one BB into the chamber at once. If you don't have a moset it don't stop in the same place each time. Hence, sometimes you get two come up.

Usually a problem on higher ROF set ups though. But I suppose in lower voltage the nozzle moves slower.

So go back to 8.4v, or a Active Breaking MOSFET. If you can afford a MOSFET then do, makes semi much nicer

He ment it usually happends with high ROf, Codeone. So try the lower volt battery.

              Re: ICS MP5 Double feeding

it only happened on the mid-caps

but when i used a hi-cap only happened on the first couple of BB's

i read a couple of reviews about double feeding they say it would be the hop-up
              rubber

and a couple of people said to get the madbull red rubber and bucking or try rest the hop-up

              if will try it out

                  Re: ICS MP5 Double feeding

It might be that the tappet plate is broken and the nozzle isn't working properly, or one of the springs on the tappet plate is broken, happened to me once.

if that was the case i dont think the tappit plate would move?

                      Re: ICS MP5 Double feeding

this is now sorted thanks guys

it was the rubber and bucking

replaced with a red shark madbull rubber and bucking and the range is much better
                      and no double feeding

also if u do replace the rubber its quiet a big job and the rubber sticks out a bit
