Single shot sniper
19 November, 2010, 21:40
I remember reading a thread somewhen, saying you could limit an aeg to single shot using an astable, can anyone give me any more information or even a circuit diagram...
Cheers!

Re: Single shot sniper
Ok, my understanding of a basic 555 in the way I understand would mean wiring the trigger into it,
Ideally I would like something I can just plug between my battery and my gun, much like the latest mosfet style burst kit from HK.
Is this do-able, its been a few years since I did anything like this involving electronics.

Re: Single shot sniper
I take it you know the 2 simple ways of locking an AEG to single shot?
That's:
Butchering the selector plate electrical contact,
Butchering the selector plate where it engages with the cut off lever.
