Mixing metal + plastic receivers..
28 May, 2009, 01:05
Basically,
There is not a readily availble 416 full metal body on the market yet.
The M4 upper receiver is too short, so I was wondeirng if i could mix my upper receiver with a metal lower..dont see why not?

Re: Mixing metal + plastic receivers..
Surely if the M4 metal upper is to short, then wouldn't the M4 metal lower also be to short?
But theoretically it should work, but i doubt its ever been done before. Why not just by an AGM 416, swap the bodies and then sell the left over gun. Bit of effort but would look awesome!
