Help needed g36SD.
25 November, 2010, 23:51
Ok guys I'm terrible at guns but here I go.
Just got a g36SD Yesterday and the battery today.
Tried with battery - nothing.
So I charge battery for an hour.
Still nothing.
When battery is attached to gun it get warm.
When trigger is pulled all I hear is the trigger mechanism on off
Taking handguard- no tears in wires fuse looks happy.
Tried a battery from my mp5 ( works ) but not in g36...
I'll happily supply pictures if it will help.
If you tell me what to do.
ThE floor is yours

Does the battery get warm when its just attached or just when you pull the trigger?

Re: Help needed g36SD.
Sounds like a short circuit, somewhere, is it a new gun?
I will be at the NAE 27th-30th August and replies to messages may be slow, bear with me!

This may sound stupid but is your battery wired the right way round?
Should be red=round hole black=square hole
If it is then im going to go with a previous poster and say try swapping the terminals on the motor.
Dont bridge the fuse at this point you may end up doing more harm than good.

Re: Help needed g36SD.
You could just send it back to where you brought it? =/
As for fuses , I just whack in a 13A domestic fuse

Re: Help needed g36SD.
Hes sending it to a shop today to get fixed and Im paying all charges(as I sent it). I will say though that it was working fine when I sent it. I guess its just hard luck in the post(parcelforce).
Have you checked the contacts on the motor?
It cant be that the motor is wired the wrong way round as this was brand new and nothing had been changed or opened internally.
