Motor issue soc16

test fired my soc16 today, and found that when I fired it the motor seemed to rewind or something, after it had stopped shooting. Ive been told its a motor problem from the old owner but not sure how to sort it out.

Any help?

that sound like the anti reversal latch mate, so its not stopping the gear spinning in the opposite direction after shot .

best bet mate is to take it to a techy, or try and find someone near you ( maybe yourself) to have a look at the AR latch positioning,

as the spring to return it is meant to be a certain way,
if it is not this way, the latch wont stop the gears over spinning ..

either way mate, means trip into the gear box

hehe which id rather avoid . May just try and trade this as it is.
