Yes and No - depends on how much work you want to do as the SD uses a different front end.
Easier to sell/swap for one unless you don't mind stripping stuff down.

i have found an ics upper kit for a mp5 can i just swap them over?

Its just the cocking tube assembly that needs to be changed. Could do a swap if you want.

Yes.

To do it separate you need the cocking tube, front sight assembly and of course the foregrip.

Thats the easy way, you don't need the upper reciver. Just from the magwell forward.
