Removing ICS M4 iron sight
12 December, 2010, 17:50
Hi all,
So I'm getting myself a reflex sight and it is possible it will not clear the front iron sight. Is there any way to remove the front iron sight while the gun remaining fully functional or should I just get an RIS riser?
Cheers!

Re: Removing ICS M4 iron sight
Have you got an RIS kit on it? If not, the front sight is necessary in keeping the handguard on.

What he said.
Either riser rail or flip up sights.

It's just a standard handguard. Is there any way of replacing the standard iron sight with a flip-up version?

Yeah I think it's fine to link Z1... Cool, that looks good. But do you know if I could replace my front sight with that? I'm thinking the main issue is that the sight acts as an anchor to keep everything else in place. Cheers!
