  • AEG not shooting, trigger contacts

As it says above my AEG is not shooting. I believed it to be the wiring as there were a couple of live wires, but as i cut them off and put a new tamiya connector on i suspect it is now the trigger contacts.

just before it stopped firing it had a burning sort of smell, but i don't know what the contacts would look like if they do need replacing or just cleaning.

If the contacts were burned would it just stop firing or maybe the 'over the top' amount of grease chinese manufacturers put in their guns cause the contact to be blocked?

Sorry i can't go into more detail, any help would be appreciated.

It is an FN F2000, i got it for a project gun.

It has no MOSFET and it was the wires from the gearbox, with the fuse still intact.

check the trigger contacts mate and clean all the grime and grease from them as this will stop the gun's trigger completing the electrical circuit
