ICS MP5 A4 to upgrade?
2 January, 2011, 10:43
Just seeing what people think would be an effective upgrade for my ICS M5A4
Only things I could really think of would be a tight bore barrel and 'plug and play' mosfet from the a know scottish airsoft retailer. Should I touch the gear box its shooting the perfect FPS and the rof is good. I just want to push a little more range.

Just a different hop rubber if all you want is more range!

TBB and a guarder/TM bucking if your going for a mid range budget. Or if you want it all go for a Prommy barrel and firefly rubber.

Re: ICS MP5 A4 to upgrade?
I know it's not an MP5, but I put a JBU shaped hop rubber into my JG Aug and the range went from about 40m to 55+. I can now run .28s in there with no issue or loss of range. The JBU hop rubbers have a "bum" shape, which grips the BB at (for example) 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock, instead of the standard hop rubber gripping at 12 o'clock. (Work with me here, I'm knackered and having issues describing it!)

Motors are quite easy to change on mp5's, put a G&P 140 in there, maybe a m100 spring and a tightbore.
