crane stock wire issues

crane stock wire issues

hi there, i have had probley 3 crane stocks in my time and all seem to have the same problem..,
put the battery in the stock
attach the deans connectors
pull stock on
and you notice you cannot put the stock all the way forward ( first postion )
i know this is the wires in the stock tube but is there a way differant which i missing?
do people cut wires down?
does anyone know a tricks of the trade way to aviod this annoying issue?
for that matter does anyone else get this problem?

how long is the pipe at the back of your body ?

haha ok sorry was in a rush to go out :P
how long is the small tube that the stock pipe goes over ? i only ask as if you have a G&P crane stock and tube if that part is a standard size your stock will not fully close , its the same if you have a battery holder fitted to the stock

i dont quite understand what you mean by the small tube the stock pipe goes over?
unless you are on about the peice of metal that comes out of the body?
and its a g p stock and tube.

G&P make 2 types of body a type A and B the A is for standard stocks and the B is for battery stocks but you can just cut some off to make it a type B
thats my G&P body thats had the tube cut down for a G&P stock

hi mate, cheers for that manual! i twisted the cables like it says and the stock goes fully in! cheers for that! do you twist your cables like the manual says? did you get a manual with yours cus idid'nt!
looks like we got the same bodys too :D

if i can i do , nah only ever had 1 new from hk the others were always secondhand , that body is a G&P mk18 MoD0
