m4 fire selector problem
5 January, 2011, 19:24
hi
used my m4 last weekend and for some unknown reason the fire selector fell off :S
tried to re attach by simply screwing back on but when placed back on it simply swings about.
is there a special way to re attach the fire selector so it operates properly?

Re: m4 fire selector problem
How the selector works:
The selector has small hole in side it. A small spring, and a ball bearing, or a small bit of plastic sit on that. Then , when you go to click it into place, the ball bearing ect. is pushed into a dip in the receiver to click it into place.

Re: m4 fire selector problem
Well you can get a fire selector with those bits from any airsoft shop for around a tenner, otherwise do as you suggested.
