  • spring boing!

    hi guys, bought a second hand aks-74u a while back, realised the spring made a boing noise when cycled, thought ahh easy fix the springs weak and decompressed, dropped an new one in a bit bigger also, and its still doing it? what could be causing the noise? about to add a silent headset and hi speed gears so if you could help ill do it when installing new parts, thanks joe

        Aftermarket spring guides are also meant to quiet tongs up, attatxhing the spring to the piston head alla tm, or a different spring to find a combo that doesn't ratltle

          Ill see how it goes when i install the silent headset, bearing guide and new gears, along with a reshim and all over greasing, thats got to stop it, ill leave it as is for now because of skirmish tomorow
