Mp5sd6 ris
9 January, 2011, 20:45
I've just procured an MP5SD6. I play a lot of night-time CQB, and my trusty torch/laser combo would come in very handy, but I've no way of mounting it to the underside of the weapon (without using insulation tape or similar, which isn't ideal).
Do foregrips with RIS exist? Would it be very difficult to fashion one?
What are your thoughts/offerings of advice?

Re: Mp5sd6 ris
Theres is a cheaper alternative though. I also got hold a 2nd hand Mp5 sd6. It came with small ris mounts either side ofr the barrel just next to the front sight must only be about 2.5-3 inches long tops perfect for small flash light/laser and would be a fraction of the cost of a full ris front end.
Afraid i dont know where to get them but see attached pic.
im sure some one on here could tell you

LOL, I wouldn't dream of paying £75 for that, it's overkill, to say the least, not to mention as ugly as sin, besides, it out of stock.
Thanks anyway.
This is more like it

Never had a MP5 b4 so wouldnt no mate always worked with M4's. Thought it may have been an extra built for it. If it is a mod its a good one lol

Can't you just buy some long G36 rails and screw/glue them on? Worked well for me!

Yeah, that's probably what I'll end up doing. I think glue will be the better option because screws would interfere with the removal of the battery cover.
