What Motor For My GUN?
7 June, 2009, 10:52
Just Brought a M4 S System but it apparently needs a new motor! I'v been told is a JG gun but with a TM Gearbox... I know its not much info but you got any ideas on what motor i would need? the standard one would be fine!
And also of any things i can do to make the gun slightly better, asin less breakdowns. Changing wiring, contacts.. etc etc?
Sorry its a bit vague!
Thanks, Chandler

Re: What Motor For My GUN?
That would fit fine into your gun. Torque is for higher rated spring load outs as they need more power to pull back the spring (that's in a nutshell)
I'm not sure how highly rated the JG motors are, personally I'd go for a TM EG1000 as they're good all-rounders and it's TM so it's great

They're a little more, usually around £30. Search it on Google I know of a few places that sell them in the UK, but I can't state for it would break the rules!

Re: What Motor For My GUN?
The systema motors won't die, and with modding can run a stock gearbox reliably.
But I too would recomend either an M120 or CA highspeed. Or, if you don't have the cash, a TM Eg1000 is a solid choice.
