M4 soulds like scaelextric gun

think this is simple but could use a bit of advise
i have a TM M4

there is a noticable whine as you pull the trigger like the title suggests

gun is working and working ok

however it sometimes stick while in single shot - releases when put to full auto and than back

after around 200 rounds there was a faint electrical burning smell

now is this just normal and i have not noticed it before ?

Have you tried adjusting the motor height?

not yet - that was going to be my first thing to try when i get a chance to work on it

Definitely sounds like a motor height issue buddy.

Motor height most definitely. If not, open her up and reshim.

either wiring burning or trigger contacts

id check them properly after tweaking motor height

I dont know alot about airsoft motors but others motors that i know about get a hmm or whine when the brushes are wears also the motor bearing.
but does sound like a motor issue never the less.
