  • ares scar can i run a lipo in it without upgrading

    I have 2 lipi batterys left over from another build project, was wondering if I could run them safely in my ares scar with out haveing to upgrade her , or if I have to up grade , what parst should I do, all help is appreacieted.

      they are kong power 11.1 v 20c 1100mah lipos , was just thinkin on a way to get a bit of usage out of them, the scar is maybe 7 months old,dont wanna destroy her either

        well you could run any gun on a lipo but I would advise not too as you wont have a mosfet and wirering may not be good enough.

        IMO its not worth the risk.

          Personally, I wouldn't run a 11.1v lipo in a standard gun. RoF is going to be high, and you ideally want to run a MOSFET to save your trigger contacts

              7.4v will be fine but 11.1v will be too much. I used an 11.1 lipo in my ares m4 and the front of my gearbox cracked.
