      The clue is in the name P - Mag, POLYMER Mag. Normal M4 mags are pressed metal, P Mags are molded out of polymer.

        And they are moulded with ribs and ridges for here pleasure

        also some have windows for ammo check and newer ones have a window with fake rounds
        also dust cover
