Strange firing 'problem'
3 February, 2011, 14:10
Well not really a massive problem, but i'd like to know whats causing this lol.
On my CA G3 i've a problem with single shot. If i pull the trigger really quick back to the stop single shot works fine. If i squeeze it slowly, when i get to say 80% of the trigger movement the gun will run full auto until i complete the pull.
It hasn't always done this, it jsut started randomly one day
Any idea what could be at fault?

Re: Strange firing 'problem'
they are the two metal contacts which accept the trigger blade. The trigger blade need to be back X amount of distance for the cut off lever to knock it up off the trigger. If the contacts are too close they make the connection on half trigger pulls, thats why slaming it to the back gets it there quick enough to get a semi shot.
The only difference betwee nfull and single is the cut off lever..

Re: Strange firing 'problem'
a tip would be when bending them to make them wider at the front while maintaining the close connection at the back..
