6 February, 2011, 13:20
Used my lipo's for the first time yesterday, Dropping them down to a storage voltage my charger doesnt have an option for balancing and discharging them, is it ok to store them slightly out of sync so long as they are balance charged before use ? if so how far out of sync is OK ? my charger is a Accucell 6

The best thing to do is store them fully charged and balanced.
If you leave them stored low on power and they get too low over time they can become damaged and unusable.
I always store mine full and check once a month putting them on for a quick charge if i feel the need.
But i dont think mine have ever been left for more than a month without use.

Re: Lipo Storage
ok thanks, was told to store them at 3.7v per cell, but keeping them full and balanced be much easier imo...
