Piston teeth removal
9 February, 2011, 17:56
Based on a m4 sopmod ive been reading a japanese site and they say take off the 2nd tooth from the piston to avoid crash.
I notice on the sopmod piston it has the 2nd tooth shaved a little.
What do you guys think

Re: Piston teeth removal
To stop pre-enagement and to ease the AoE correction. Most people do it, I take off the said tooth and however much I can off the next one(normaly half).

Re: Piston teeth removal
Will run no different unless the AoE is corrected, your piston will just last longer.

Re: Piston teeth removal
i like to lower it as in the first pic, if you look at where the teeth go when you simiulate it, it doesnt catch any more than the very top.
The way i figure pistons do a good enough job of removing there teeth on there own, know need to do all the work for them
