15 February, 2011, 19:19
hi people,
there may already be a thread on here but here goes,
i have a ares M4 and i have a mosfet which me and a mate fitted 2 days ago, it was shooting fine after testing it that day, i used it about a hour ago and it was fine, connected the battery just now, it was on safe, and was shooting full auto
and this wont stop.
does anyone know whats going on??
thanks

Re: gun shoots by itself
Sounds like the trigger spring has snapped, leaving it in the forward position.
Try having it at 90 degrees to the ceiling (barrel pointing up!) and knocking it a couple of times. Then keeping it that way up, reconnect battery.

Re: gun shoots by itself
Your best hope then is you've got some bare metal touching the gearbox casing. Failing that, probably electronic fault with the MOSFET of trigger block. Either way, replacement would seem to be only option!
