MP5 grinding and not moving
15 February, 2011, 20:32
Back with another problem unfortunately :/
Having a problem with my MP5 gearbox at the moment. I have loosened and tightened the motor but it either grinds or when it's tighter doesn't cycle at all, you can just hear it move slightly.
I was just wondering if anyone has any idea of what the problem could be.
All advice is appreciated.

Was it running before? Flat battery? Seized GB? Is it just a click?
P.S. Did you send out my stuff today?

Bought it in pieces from a mate and it worked fine. I think it just locked up a minute ago now im putting a non bearing spring guide in to see if it closes easier.

Re: MP5 grinding and not moving
Sounds like a stripped gear, have you got a video? Have you sent my items out yet?

Re: MP5 grinding and not moving
Check the piston hasn't been damaged. My M4 ruined 2 pistons and it sounded like the motor had dropped, but it was just stripping the piston instead.
