MP5 battery? or problem
19 February, 2011, 11:09
Hi guys,
charged my battery at the start of the week, took my JG MP5 into the garden this morning to test some new BB's and after shooting fine the sound became muffled and no bb's were firing, even though i had a half full mag, then nothing at all? Battery died or a problem? Haven't noticed it before!
Cheers

Re: MP5 battery? or problem
Erm, not great news.
Probably had a jam, kept on firing until the mechnism got stuck and then blew the fuse!

Re: MP5 battery? or problem
The fuse seems fine? But the again its not a fuse I've seen before? If I had a small enough allen key I could take the fire selector switch off and have a look at the gearbox. If i can get it off whats the easiest way to check? Cheers

Re: MP5 battery? or problem
If it's not the fuse, may well have burnt something out.
Problem with the MP5, is it pretty much the hardest weapon to take apart. You need to remove every last piece to get into it!
Try winding the hop all the way off, then using the unjamming rod to check for any blockages.
