19 February, 2011, 22:57
Hi there, just got a new G&P moe CQB m4, and I have decided to get a nice long silencer for it, now the problem is the Flash hider wont budge, which is really annoying as it's also a Amplifyer, it's the flash hider then a silver ring and then the barrel, I have tryed even with plyers trying to get it off and it wont budge, please help??????????????????????????

Re: g&p Flash hider problem
Then its super duper glued on , Stick a screw driver or something that will fit though the holes in the flash hider and try that (More torque then pliers )
If that does not work boil some water and soak it in that for a while and hope that loosens up the glue

Re: g&p Flash hider problem
the g&p flash hiders are CW ( most aegs are ccw ) use an open end spanner to fit the flat parts of the flash hider and it wil come off

Re: g&p Flash hider problem
buy better tools :P , are you turning it the correct way ? ( also that silver ring is just a cap of sorts hiding the spacers )

Re: g&p Flash hider problem
I had one like this recently. It had a thread lock on it from factory.
I used an armourers tool to remove it. ( a big steel spanner with the correct size slot ).
Failing that, get the right size spanner, and heat the flash hider up first. It will expand slightly, aswell as heat the glue to make it a bit easier to shift.

Re: g&p Flash hider problem
Clockwise tightens it on G&P, as stated above.
