ics m4 gun not working

ok my upgraded ics m4 isnt working
i put the batt in (11.1 v lipo)
pull the trigger on semi and fullly and it works
after about a minute or less it starts mis behaving
it doesnt fire when i pull the trigger
i need to push the forward assist button
sometimes pushing the above button doesnt work, only taping/shaking the grip works
any idea what the problem is ?
someone told me gearbox lock up or something like this
help needed

i got a mosfet in it rear wired into a crane stock
one batt broken while pulling it out but it was happening before
just some more info to help a solve this
as im clueless :D

If you have to tap the grip , take your base plate off and make sure the connections are tight if there just resting on the tabs the motor could be shaking it lose

break in the wiring , trigger blades to far apart/caked up , battery connetion is sort of lose ... the list can go on :P

another 1 what make of mosfet are you using ? and does it use a self setting fuse and whats the spec on your battery ?

ok motors fine
not sure what mosfet or upgrades as i got it from a good friend which is mad about upgrading and all that
firefox 3900 or 1300 (not sure but theres 3 1300 mah cells in one batt) mah 11.1v lipo

it took one and a bit of a mag to start doing it and it started after i switched from fully to semi

how hot is the fet getting ? just thinking it might be overheating but this would not explain why you can get it running by slapping the grip...

ok it wasnt overly hot
and i had to tap the bottom of the grip
tapping the top of grip
fire selector or gearbox
wouldnt work

hmm do you happen to have another motor to try as it could be crapping out on you

funny enough im changing it soon
just got to buy a pinion gear tool
got a tm motor just waiting on the shelf :/
