Crane Stock and batteries - advice needed.
12 March, 2011, 23:54
I have a dboys m4 with crane stock - I bought it second hand end of last year.
Problem is this - I can only fit the skinny style crane stock batteries in the crane stock - but can only find a 1600mah battery which isnt giving me enough juice for a full nights play.
When I bought the gun it came with the larger size crane stock batteries - but they are too large to fit in.
I have a couple of questions - anyone know where I can get a larger capacity "slim style" crane stock battery? or
Can anyone recommend a crane stock that will take the larger batteries?
I know I can always go Lipo - but I have already bought a new fast charger and have batteries here already.
Please help!!!

get a 7.4v lipo 2200mah cranestock they fit in nice.
That will last most if not all the day depending how much you shoot.
They are about £20 each
Dimensions are about 19mm x 6mm x 100mm each leg
I use them and you can get them from a famous auction sire on the interwebs

Just buy another of the ones you have. If it's cheaper.

Option 1 = Buy another one, so that once one runs out, you switch to the other and your good to go.
Option 2 = Get a lipo like mirlock said, they will easily last you all game. Fit like a glove too!

actually what stock tube do you have ?
I had a simular problem where the stock tube its self was the problem ?
What make and model of gun do you have ?
i couldnt even fit in a 7.4v 1200 lipo because the screw that secures the stock tube on was so far back
In the end i had to order a new Stock tube !
