Fps after spring settle ?
14 March, 2011, 01:39
In a m4 sopmod if you use a m100 spring and when new its at 348 fps and so far after 1 days play its down to 340 so im guessing it will go down to about 330-335 fps when fully settled
If i stick a m110 spring in do you think ill get the same amount of settling so after a few games it settles down to about 350 fps ?
I ask because i play 2 sites and i love using the gun but 1 site = 370 fps and anyother = 350 fps . so i want as close to 350 as possible.
Sorry for being fussy must be old age

Re: Fps after spring settle ?
theres no settling with my springs due to the heat treatments but more likely you applied hop, the hop rubber has a million times more affect on it than, it would ever loose over time compressed.
put it on max hop and chrono then :P
I get two readings hop off and hop set. Both can be 20 fps apart.
Good thing you have a quick chnage spring system eh

Barrels are in two categories , either hard metal or soft metal, and there costs varies accordingly. The harder the material the longer they last. Guarders are good for that price bracket.
