MP5K Problem
16 March, 2011, 20:03
Hi guys, I have a Galaxy MP5K, i've never skirmished this gun, I bought it and it fired fine for about 200 ish rounds, then I thought the battery had died, this is what happened:

I left it a few weeks bought a new battery, and now nothing happens at all. Now I got told it could be a locked up gearbox.
When I pull the trigger nothing at all happens, there's no noise or attempt to turn over the gearbox. And yes the battery is charged and working.
Thanks guys

Re: MP5K Problem
How would I know if it's the fuse causing the problem?
First time taking apart an AEG as i'm used to taking apart spring rifles.
How would I sort it out if it was the fuse?
And if it's a locked up gearbox how would I fix that?
Sorry for all the questions, I have to learn somewhere :p

Re: MP5K Problem
There might be a black and red wire in the grip attatched to the motor. Sometimes the wires can disconnect and the gun will not fire

Re: MP5K Problem
Once you find it, look in the glass. See if the wire inside is broken.
